This website
The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. Fonts are served from the same server as the page. Only when you sign up for the beta does your browser send the form to Brevo (see below).
Hosting
The site is served through Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you open it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time and the requested address, to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Beta waitlist
When you sign up, I store your email address, your phone (iPhone or Android) and the language of the page, to send you the beta invitation (TestFlight or the Google Play test) and to tell you when VoiceCut launches. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Sign-up uses double opt-in: you get an email with a confirmation link, and only after you click it are you on the list. As proof, the time and IP address of sign-up and confirmation are stored. You can withdraw your consent at any time, through the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to support@voicecut.eu. Once VoiceCut is live in both stores, I delete the list.
For the form and the emails I use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany) as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Brevo stores the data on servers in the EU and records whether an email is opened and a link is clicked.
The app
VoiceCut processes videos, audio and transcripts only on your phone. No content is sent to me or to anyone else. During the beta, Apple collects crash and usage data through TestFlight under Apple’s own terms.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
