Customize captions
Captions are there from the first cut, word by word with your voice. The “Captions” tab changes how they look.
- 01
Pick a template
Open the “Captions” tab and tap “Template”. Classic, Box and Highlight are free. Both, One word, Karaoke, Marker and Cinema need VoiceCut Pro.
- 02
Font, color, size, outline
“Font”, “Color”, “Size” and “Outline” set the rest. Under “Color” you pick the text color, the color of the active word and a background box.
- 03
Position
Under “Position”, pick Bottom, Middle or Top. Or drag the captions up or down in the picture. The preview shows the Instagram and TikTok safe zones.
- 04
Animation
“Animation” sets how captions appear, how the spoken word is highlighted and how many words show at once. Off, and color for the active word, are free; the rest needs Pro.
- 05
Fix a word
In the “Cut” tab, select the word and tap “Edit text”. You see the original, type the right form and tap “Save”.
- 06
Save as template
Like a style? Under “Template”, tap “Save as template” and name it. Press and hold it to rename, overwrite or delete.
Good to know
- You can try Pro styles without Pro. VoiceCut only asks at export.
- Want the video without captions? Turn off “With captions” when you export.
- An own template that uses Pro features needs Pro; one made of free parts does not.
