Edit by deleting words
VoiceCut writes down what you say. You edit in that text: whatever you remove there is missing from the video and the export.
- 01
Select a word
In the “Cut” tab, tap a word. It is selected and the video jumps to it.
- 02
Select several words
Press and hold a word and drag across the next ones. Move the two grips at the ends to adjust. The bar on top shows how many words and seconds are selected.
- 03
Remove
Tap “Remove”. The part collapses into a row, such as “3 words removed · 1.2 s”, and is gone from the video.
- 04
Bring it back
Right under the removed part is “Restore”. One tap and it is back in the video.
Good to know
- To bring everything back at once: “More” › “Reset all changes”.
- “Remove from captions only” keeps the word in the video and takes it out of the captions.
- A word misheard? “Edit text” fixes it, see Customize captions.
