Record with the teleprompter
The teleprompter shows your script right over the camera picture while you record. You look into the camera and still read.
- 01
Open the camera
On the start screen, tap “Record clip”. The front camera is on; “Switch camera” changes it.
- 02
Add your script
Tap “Text”. Type your script or tap “Paste”. “Clear” deletes it.
- Android:
- On Android the panel is called “Teleprompter”.
- 03
Speed and text size
Set the speed with − and +, from 1 to 5. Text size is small, medium or large. Then tap “Done”.
- 04
Record
Tap the shutter. The script starts scrolling when the recording starts. Tap it to pause, drag to scroll by hand. Tap the shutter again to stop.
- 05
Check the take
You then see the take. “Cut” opens it in VoiceCut, “Record again” throws it away.
- iPhone:
- “Save to Photos” also keeps the original in Photos.
- Android:
- Android can also keep the original in the gallery.
Good to know
- If there is text behind you in the picture, turn off “Mirror front camera”, or it shows mirrored.
- The script is not saved. Keep it somewhere else and paste it in next time.
- With no script there is no teleprompter; the camera simply records.
- Green screen is on the same screen. It needs VoiceCut Pro.
